For TOI et MOI, growing in the perfume, room fragrance, candle and textile spray categories in the Turkish market, we carried the digital sales experience to a stronger, simpler and premium structure. On the Shopify infrastructure, by reworking the product pages, category structures, SEO content, campaign setups and brand communication language, we strengthened the brand’s position in online perfume shopping.
How is scent conveyed in digital?
In the perfume and fragrance category, the user wants to experience the product before buying. But in e-commerce this experience has to be built through the screen. For TOI et MOI the main question was: how can we convey a scent’s character, notes, feeling of use and premium perception only through visuals, text and the shopping experience? Moreover, this had to be done consistently across different product groups such as perfume, reed room fragrance, candle and textile spray.
We recreated all of TOI et MOI’s product visuals in Blender using ultra realistic textures and shaders. We tried to convey the notes to the user by creating more than 200 moving videos for all the scent notes. We set up the Shopify infrastructure to suit the product variety and the growing category structure. We created a clearer category experience for different product groups such as women’s perfume, men’s perfume, unisex perfume, the Selective series, room fragrance, candle and textile spray. By making the scent notes, feeling of use, product size and SEO focused descriptions clearer on the product pages, we made the users’ purchase decision easier.


With campaign periods, gift focused content, category texts and ad language, we carried the brand’s digital communication to a more sales focused point that still preserves the premium perception.

The work we carried out for TOI et MOI was not just a Shopify e-commerce site arrangement; it was a holistic e-commerce development process bringing together the digital sales experience, product content, SEO infrastructure, campaign communication and brand perception for a perfume brand. We aimed to carry the online shopping experience of TOI et MOI, growing in different product groups such as perfume, unisex perfume, women’s perfume, men’s perfume, reed room fragrance, candle, textile spray and essence in the Turkish market, to a simpler, more premium and more user friendly structure.
One of the biggest challenges of digital sales in the fragrance category is that the user cannot experience the product physically. For this reason, for TOI et MOI we treated the product pages not as areas made only of technical information, but as decision support points that tell the character of the scent. We carried details such as perfume notes, top note, heart note, base note, fragrance family, feeling of use, product size, gift alternative and daily use scenarios into a clearer structure. So we created a shopping flow where users can more easily choose between 50 ML and 100 ML perfume options, Selective series products, classic perfume collections, reed diffuser room fragrances, candles and textile sprays.
On the Shopify infrastructure we evaluated the category, collection and product architecture in a way suited to e-commerce performance. While making TOI et MOI’s product variety more manageable, we prepared SEO focused product descriptions, category texts, meta title and meta description structures that could increase visibility in search engines. We supported the brand’s organic visibility with content suited to search intents such as online perfume shopping, quality perfume, affordable perfume, unisex perfume, women’s perfume, men’s perfume, reed room fragrance, home fragrance and textile spray.
On the brand communication side, while preserving TOI et MOI’s premium, modern and sensory world, we created a clearer sales language. In Valentine’s Day, special occasion campaigns, gift suggestions, Selective series communication, social media creatives and performance marketing copy, we aimed to make the brand look both accessible and select. By combining the brand name that carries the feeling of “you and me” with the personal and emotional world of perfume, we positioned the products not just as a scent, but as a piece of style, gift and daily experience.
As a result of the project, we created a Shopify based, mobile friendly, SEO stronger, easy to manage and campaign ready e-commerce structure for TOI et MOI. In the Turkish market, where competition in the perfume and fragrance category is intense, we carried the brand’s digital experience to a point that is more understandable, more reassuring and makes the purchase decision easier.
