BEX Coffee.
The task of refreshing, for the next 5 years, the brand we built at its founding with all the innovations in the world came to Fark Studio once again.
BEX Coffee was founded in London in 2019. This brand, whose founding our team accompanied, has moved forward from the very beginning with the motto of representing the newest. It became BEX Coffee thanks to this very motto, which started many trends such as non-boutique third wave coffee, the combination of coffee and electronic music, and a Shopify e-commerce store in the coffee sector.
Years later we came together with the founders again and, without breaking its now settled identity, feeding it only with innovations, we created a current design system and a Shopify store equipped with the latest web technologies.
There are so many coffee shops following a similar route. How can we put a difference between us and them for the next 5 years?
The coffee sector in Turkey has been growing at an incredible pace since the 2010s. When BEX Coffee was founded in 2019, it moved forward with the excitement of representing the newest, feeding only on trends spoken about behind closed doors. Now there are many local and national brands moving forward with a similar formula.
The design system had already been specially created to stay fresh for long years. As a result of the sessions we held together with the founders, we settled on the idea of making quiet innovations that only those who pay attention to detail would notice.


We updated the Shopify based web page, already among the first in Turkey, with changing corporate needs, plenty of storytelling elements and a custom built Spline 3D setup optimised in detail down to the last pixel.

Within this project we carried out for BEX Coffee, we designed a more current, faster digital experience that can be used for long years without ageing, while preserving the brand’s existing identity. Our team, which was also part of the founding process of the London based coffee brand BEX Coffee, developed a new generation Shopify e-commerce infrastructure by analysing the brand’s loyal audience built up over the years and its place in modern coffee culture.
With the rapid growth of third wave coffee culture in Turkey, many brands started using a similar design language and communication approach. For this reason, our main goal in the project was to create a more refined brand experience that would distinguish BEX Coffee from its competitors without losing its innovative spirit. We carried out detailed work especially on the user experience (UX), modern interface design (UI) and performance optimisation side.
Within the project, a custom design system, an advanced Shopify infrastructure, page setups supporting storytelling and optimised Spline 3D experiences were developed. At the same time, mobile performance, Core Web Vitals criteria and a conversion focused user flow were prioritised. Thanks to GA4 integrations, user behaviour was analysed in detail and data driven growth strategies were created.
At the end of the six month process, a 1.5x increase was achieved in website traffic, while a 110% rise was provided in the average session duration. In addition, despite the high visual quality, an average LCP performance of 2.7 seconds was maintained, so the user experience and technical performance were optimised in a balanced way.
