01 — Overview
Making thousands of products more visible.

For DevVitrin, which offers thousands of products in the dermocosmetics, cosmetics, vitamin and food supplement categories, we handled technical SEO and content SEO together. The aim was to increase the organic visibility of an e-commerce platform with high product variety, help search engines understand the site more accurately and get users to the products they need more easily.

02 — Challenge

With thousands of SKUs, why does organic traffic not grow?

DevVitrin had a wide product catalogue and strong category potential. But gaps in the technical infrastructure, weak category content, not sufficiently original product descriptions and meta data that did not meet search intent were limiting the site's organic performance. Even though the products users were looking for existed, the site could not get the visibility it deserved in those searches.

The main question was: how can we make a dermocosmetics and supplement e-commerce site with thousands of products more understandable, stronger and more competitive for search engines and users?

03 — Solution
Technical improvements, a strong content structure, scalable SEO.

For DevVitrin we ran a comprehensive SEO process that started with a technical SEO audit and continued with content architecture and product page optimisations. While addressing the content gaps on the category pages, we created content structures suited to users' search intent for the dermocosmetics, skin care, sunscreen, vitamin, mineral, food supplement and cosmetics product groups.

By improving areas such as the meta title, meta description, heading hierarchy, original description structures and internal linking on the product and category pages, we strengthened the site's organic visibility. On the technical side, by prioritising issues related to crawlability, indexability, mobile user experience and page structure, we built a healthier SEO infrastructure.

By developing DevVitrin's technical and content SEO infrastructure, we strengthened its organic visibility. After the work, the site's number of Google impressions tripled compared to the previous period.

06 — Project Notes
Turnover fed by organic.

The work we carried out for DevVitrin was not just a process of adding keywords or producing blog content; it was a comprehensive organic growth project aimed at strengthening together the technical SEO and content infrastructure of a wide ranging e-commerce platform offering dermocosmetics, cosmetics, vitamin, mineral and food supplement products. On an e-commerce site with thousands of SKUs, organic success does not depend only on the number of products. Search engines need to be able to crawl the products correctly, understand the category structures, the pages need to be supported with original content, and users need to be able to reach the product they are looking for quickly.

Even though product variety was strong in DevVitrin's existing structure, gaps in the technical infrastructure, insufficient category texts, non-original or missing product descriptions and meta data that did not sufficiently meet search intent were limiting organic visibility. To be visible in highly competitive categories such as dermocosmetic products, skin care products, sunscreens, serums, cleansers, vitamins, collagen products, magnesium supplements, multivitamins and food supplements, listing products alone was not enough. Page structures that are suited to the topic the user searches for, explanatory, reassuring and SEO strong were needed.

Within the project we evaluated DevVitrin's technical SEO infrastructure and addressed the priority areas negatively affecting organic performance. We made improvements in areas such as crawling and indexing processes, category architecture, page titles, meta descriptions, mobile user experience, internal linking structure and content quality. At the same time, we reworked the category and product pages not just for search engines, but in a user focused way that makes the purchase decision easier.

On the content SEO side, we created a stronger content structure for category clusters such as dermocosmetics, skin care, face serum, moisturiser, sunscreen, hair care, vitamin, mineral and food supplement. By working on original descriptions, heading hierarchies, meta title and meta description fields on the product pages, we aimed for each product to be positioned more clearly in search engines. So DevVitrin's catalogue of thousands of products gained a more orderly, more understandable and more scalable organic visibility structure.

The main goal of the SEO work was to take DevVitrin beyond being just an e-commerce site with wide product variety, and turn it into a strong digital platform where users can more easily reach the dermocosmetics, cosmetics and supplement products they need through organic searches. After the technical improvements and content optimisations, the site's number of Google impressions tripled compared to the previous period. So DevVitrin's organic visibility, traffic potential and digital presence in highly competitive categories were carried to a stronger point.
